Bob McDonnell cares for Veterans, he's one of us!

Virginians are are probably emotionally drained from the 2008 election. It was a great fight and we should stand proud of our performance.  But we have another fight we must prepare for.  Attorney General McDonnell served 21 years in the U.S. Army, both active duty and reserves, and retired as a Lt. Colonel. Now lets elect him Virginias 71st Governor.

Local Iraqi Freedom Deployments - Thank You for your service!


MANASSAS, Va. — Amber B. Cowles-Lloyd has been mobilized and activated for deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The specialist, a military police with four years of military service, is normally assigned to the 266th Military Police Company.

She is the daughter of Denise A. Back of Verona and the sister of Tommy Lloyd of Fishersville.

She is a 2004 graduate of Riverheads High School in Greenville.

Sanner activated for deployment

MANASSAS, Va. — Army National Guard Pfc. Justin L. Sanner has been mobilized and activated for deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sanner is a signal support specialist with three years of military service, is normally assigned to the 266th Military Police Company.

He is the son of Linda A. Wonderley of Grottoes and is a 2005 graduate of Fort Defiance High School.

Weeks activated for deployment

MANASSAS, Va. — Army National Guard Pvt. Nathan M. Weeks has been mobilized and activated for deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

A military police member with two years of military service, Weeks is normally assigned to the 266th Military Police Company.

He is the son of Janice Weeks of Grottoes.

He a 2007 graduate of Fort Defiance High School.
