A Promise and The Hope of Real Change

Feeling a little tired and weary of these politicians who seemingly act like seventeen year olds hooked on drugs?

The pain of dealing with teenagers is probably not much different. Do they seem distant? Do they act seemingly reckless and non-responsive? The enslavement of the drug has blinded them from seeing their damage or adequately assessing our love or true motives. Sometimes their responses are often filled with hate and vile anger. They never see their harm till its too late. Our love sometimes is just not enough to overcome the wickedness of the drug. Don't loose your peace-of-mind, stay vigilant and stay strong in the heart of the spirit for them. For when they do fall someone will need to be there not to say "I told you so" but to lead over the next mountain.

Well, maybe its a good time to reflect and renew our journey. Remember we are not alone and in Him we all have a voice. You might say we speak with the power of two.

Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, offers a Christmas blessing and challenges all of us to use the voices the newborn Jesus secured for us to stand for life and justice in the new year.

A Christmas Message

In Christ we all have the promise and the hope of real change.
Peace and Joy to all!
