The Symbol of the Ken Cuccinelli Campaign

Make no mistake the Gadsden Flag has become a powerful symbol for the Ken Cuccinelli campaign to be the next Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia:

From Ken Cuccinelli homepage:
"In the last several years, and most significantly since the election of the current administration and Congress, the trend towards increased Federal Government control over every aspect of the lives of Virginia’s citizens has been alarming. The time is now to turn the tide away from destructive big government policies, toward a less intrusive, less oppressive form of government; a return to the first principles intended by the founding fathers. I will apply these founding principles to every aspect of my work as your next Attorney General. For this reason, I have chosen the Gadsden Flag as a symbol for my campaign."
I and apparently others have observed after hearing Ken Cuccinelli speak:
"Specifically, I was impressed by his willingness to invoke the Constitution early and often as his personal political compass."
After attending and hearing Ken Cuccinelli speak at the GMU Manassas, Va. debate I really developed a respect for why Ken Cuccinelli uses the Gadsden Flag as his campaign symbol.

More conservatives should use the Constitution as their political compass.

Prince William County, Va. Law agencies make new pact on illegal deportation.

Probably, no single law in the some twenty-five years I have lived in Prince William county has made a significant quality of life change for me and my family than Prince William County's particapation in the 287(g) illegal deportation program. Within a mile of my residence we had shootings, prostitution rings and gang graffiti just explode on our neighborhood streets. Violent crimes, gang graffiti and nefarious sex related activity have been squelched in my opinion because of this one program. Kudos to the local and state governments to improve our kids and grandkids current situation and hopefully their future.

Prince William County, Va. renews 287(g) program excerpts:

Department of Homeland Security officials have signed new agreements authorizing nearly 70 state and local law enforcement agencies, including a contentious Arizona sheriff, to help arrest and deport illegal immigrants charged with violent or criminal acts.

The new agreement allows for "greater accountability and transparency," including regular audits and closer federal inspection, said Mr. Morton.

No agencies in the District or Maryland are participating. But in Virginia, the Prince William County Sheriff's Office and Police Department, and Prince William-Manassas Adult Detention Center have renewed their agreements. So have the Manassas Police Department, Manassas Park Police Department, Rockingham County Sheriff's Office and Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office.

If you feel your quality of life is suffering from crime in your area you need to ask your elected officals what is the cause and can the DHS 287(g) illegal deportation program help.
