Tea Party Delivers DC Area Message

The Danville, Virginia TEA Party Patriots send President Obama a message via Airmail
The group’s project coordinator, Susan Lee, raised funds during the last two months to fly a plane over Washington, D.C. morning traffic today with a nearly 100-foot-long banner reading “OBAMA STOP DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY” in five-foot-tall letters.

If you were on Interstates 66, 95 or 495 during this morning’s rush hour and happened to look up, you might have seen this. Thanks to the Danville TEA Party for putting together the funding for this!

There is just something about Virginians that makes their Tea Partys so unique. Maybe its that they feel just a step closer to our Founding Fathers and their principles.

One coaches view: Ken Niumatalolo

The Navy Midshipmen won again Saturday against the Army Black Knights, 17-3, which makes eight in a row but there is so much more to this rivalry. Its more than just a game as noted by Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo:

"It's more than football," Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo said. "This isn't the biggest rivalry in college football. It is the biggest rivalry in sports. … If not for these guys doing what they do, you wouldn't have football. America understands that, because of these young men, they allow us to have freedoms in this great country."

No its not just another Saturday football game, Ken brings a certain pride and appreciation for these young men and women who choose to serve. Thank You Ken Niumatalolo for reminding us that it really doesn't matter who won this Saturday as these young service members have bigger battles ahead that they must endure.
God Bless America.
