‘Tis the season of the Hambone!

While the rest of America finishes off the last of their Thanksgiving leftovers and ponder their football predictions, the rest of us prepare for the season of the Hambone! Sorry Redskins maybe next year. ;-)

Hambone is four consecutive strikes in a game of bowling. Who knew Hambone would make the urban dictionary?

Well lets get started! Eugene McCune breaks the PBA nine-game record of 2,367 pins by 101 pins, for a total of 2,468 pins. Link Here!

(After 21 games, including match play bonus pins; top five advance to stepladder finals at 9 a.m. Pacific Friday; finals will air on ESPN at 1 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, Nov. 28)

1, Eugene McCune, Munster, Ind., 9-0, 5,612.
2, Ritchie Allen, Columbia, S.C., 5-4, 5,386.
3, Norm Duke, Clermont, Fla., 7-2, 5,375.
4, Michael Haugen Jr., Carefree, Ariz., 6-3, 5,344.
5, Lonnie Waliczek, Wichita, Kan., 5-4, 5,329.
Check out the premiere episode of the PBA's reality series "Road to the Show". Documents the first event of the 2010 PBA World Series of Bowling leading up to the start of the season. Very nicely done.

Professional bowlers seem really out of touch with the new online media fans. Perhaps its the PBA seemingly overbearing oversight, perhaps the bowlers are just to busy. Here are some links of the world of bowling.
